CT+ offers two varieties of soap: Carrot Soap & Plant Extracts Soap. But to answer the question,” Does CT+ soap bleach?” you must know the ingredients in the soap:
Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Ascorbic Acid, Aqua, Carrot Oil, Vitamin E, Plant Extracts, Sodium Hydroxide
Palm Oil
Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palms. The oil is used in food manufacturing, in beauty products, and as biofuel
Coconut Oil
Applying a coconut extract to human skin may enhance its protective barrier functions and have an anti-inflammatory effect
Carrot Oil
Carrot seed oil is a type of essential oil. It’s extracted via steam distillation from the seeds of the Daucus carota plant. Carrot seed oil is effective at combating several strains of bacteria. Carotol, another chemical compound in carrot seed oil, reduces the activity of fungi that affect plant growth. Carrot seed oil’s antioxidant properties suggest that it might be beneficial in cosmetics as a rejuvenator for aging skin. The carrot seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties and is soothing to the skin and scalp.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage in the skin. And vitamin E applied topically may help nourish and protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Ascorbic Acid
Ascorbic acid/Vitamin C is an antioxidant, meaning it protects skin cells from damaging free radicals caused by UV exposure. It also inhibits melanin production in the skin, which helps to lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots, even out skin tone, and enhance skin radiance.
So we can see that with these ingredients, especially ascorbic acid, CT+ is not a bleaching soap. But, a skin-lightening soap.
