Before we answer the question “Is Makari a bleaching cream?” you need to know the meaning of these two words:
1. Bleaching
2. Lightening
Some people address whitening as bleaching. We cannot say it’s entirely wrong or right. Well, now let us get into the actual answer:
Skin Lightening
Lightening is reducing pigmentation and brightness is increasing the radiance and glow of the skin. Lightening has to do with discoloration and evening skin tone. Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid, Arbutine, Vitamin C, and retinol are considered some of the lighteners
Skin lightening products do not bleach your skin. It is important to understand that skin lightening is designed to restore your skin to the tone you were born with. Have you ever noticed how babies and little children have such smooth even skin? We are all born this way. However, environmental factors such as sun damage and other factors result in hyperpigmentation. Organic skin lightening products are a safe way to lighten skin. These products are formulated to resolve your skin blemishes and restore your original skin tone.
Skin Bleaching
Skin bleaching, on the other hand, is designed to give you a skin tone lighter than what you were born with. This is also known as skin whitening. In reality, these products don’t actually bleach your skin. However, at Makari, we don’t recommend skin whitening and none of our products are formulated to whiten your skin beyond your natural skin tone.
Many skin-lightening creams are beneficial to your skin. However, it is important to make sure that there are no harmful ingredients in your skin-lightening creams. This means you should only use products that are made by reputable brands. Cheaper products are to be avoided
